Slow Down, Breathe, and Flow with the Cosmic Currents

🌟 Pre-retrograde shadow: Begins February 28
🌟 Post-retrograde shadow: Wraps up April 26

What Does Mercury Retrograde Mean?

Mercury retrograde is one of those cosmic events that gets a bit of a bad rap—but in truth, it’s a powerful time for reflection, re-calibration, and course correction.

Astronomically speaking, Mercury—our planet of communication, travel, and technology—moves faster than Earth around the Sun. It typically takes just 88 days to complete its orbit, compared to Earth’s 365 days. But a few times a year, it slows down just enough that from our perspective, it appears to move backward in the sky. This is what we call Mercury retrograde.

Why Does This Matter?

Since Mercury rules communication, thinking, and movement, its retrograde period often brings:
🔹 Delays & detours – Travel plans might shift, and tech glitches can test your patience.
🔹 Misunderstandings – Double-check those emails and texts before hitting send!
🔹 Old themes resurfacing – Conversations, relationships, or decisions from the past may pop up for review.

Retrograde in Aries & Pisces: What to Expect

This retrograde starts in Aries, a fiery sign of action and independence, before drifting into Pisces, the dreamy, intuitive water sign. What does this mean?
🔥 In Aries (March 14 – 22): Expect impatience, impulsivity, and a strong urge to “fix” things right away. Take a breath before reacting!
🌊 In Pisces (March 23 – April 17): A deeply introspective phase. Emotions run high, dreams are vivid, and intuition is heightened. Go with the flow.

The Mercury Retroshade Effect

The two-week periods before and after retrograde—known as the pre- and post-shadow phases—carry their own energetic shifts. Think of them as the warm-up and cool-down to Mercury’s backspin. You may start feeling the effects as early as February 28, and clarity won’t fully return until April 26.

How to Navigate This Retrograde with Ease

Slow down. Rushing leads to mistakes—take your time.
Practice patience. Not everything needs an immediate response.
Reflect and reassess. Retrograde is a perfect time for inner work.
Back up your data. Mercury loves to tinker with technology.
Laugh it off. Frustrations will pass—stay lighthearted!

Instead of dreading Mercury retrograde, use this time as an opportunity to reset, realign, and renew. Sometimes, life asks us to slow down so we can truly hear what’s meant for us.

Breathe, trust, and flow with the universe. You’ve got this! ✨

DEVAYA YOGA

In a world where dreams were meant to be chased, Bari Devaya has emerged as a true luminary, spreading her radiant spirit wherever she goes. Born with an insatiable curiosity and an infectious zest for life, Bari Devaya's journey was destined to be nothing short of remarkable. From an early age, Bari Devaya discovered her passion for connecting with others through the power of words and actions. But Bari Devayae's mission extends far beyond the mat. A true advocate for the human spirit, she dedicates herself to empowering others, unlocking their potential, and guiding them towards lives steeped in purpose and fulfillment, with yoga, breath work, bodywork, nutriton as well as astrology and Tarot.. Her radiant smile and compassionate heart is beacon of hope, illuminating even the darkest of paths. Bari Devaya serves as a reflection of how we can all live our true purpose (dharma). As Bari says, I know it works because I was very ill mentally, emotionally and physically as I was creating what today I call Devaya Yoga™ and now I can honestly say that I experience superb physical, mental and emotional health. (Every one agrees that Devaya Yoga™: the Yoga of Color and Sound is preventative medicine. I was anorexic with some very dark thought forms (I was suicidal in thought-form) due to my low self – esteem from a lifetime of experiences from being stagnated in old, negative thought form paradigms. Devaya Yoga™ allowed me to see clearly the life I had lived as well as to see clearly the life I was currently living: I was and am living life to its fullest and I love my self and honor my self and am in great physical condition and experience great physical, mental and spiritual health. )
